Earlier this week

Sunday we went to the beach and relaxed while Jeremy read his book and I looked for sea shells. Jeremy joined me later and we swam for a bit.

As we were walking around we found La Catedral. It is this beautiful church with a lot of statues and decorations. They have a lot of areas where you can pay tribute to saints and light candles. In the cathedral while we were there they were baptizing a baby and even having mass in a separate area all while tourists were going in and out. Outside the cathedral they were having an antique sale where they were selling old nazi memorabilia. Jeremy asked and they were selling this old nazi pin for 40 euro. They also had a lot of cool little things like toys and furniture.

We decided to go to the park and relax one afternoon when the weather was good. We brought snacks and our books and just laid on the grass and read. While we were there we saw a lot of different people on these two seater bikes so we went to go see where we could get one. We found the place across the street and rented a bike for an hour. The only one they had to rent to us was a two seater but only one person could peddle so Jeremy rode it first and we went around the entire park.

This is the Arc de Triumph. It's at the beginning of the park.

This is some huge fountain in the middle of the park that was designed by Gaudi. It's so amazing and has a lot of detail. At the top of the fountain is a golden chariot and at the bottom are dragons.
